It is with a tremendous amount of sadness and relief that I am announcing the end of HaF Spanish Mastiffs breeding program. I have one litter expected in March, parents are Tomas and Marcia. You must be able to drive to me to pick your puppy up. I may have a few young adults available to very select homes in the Western part of the US. I’ll post a For Sale page sometime later this week, when I decide. If interested, please contact me via email here: firstname.lastname@example.org
At the moment, there are no active Spanish Mastiff breeders here in the US I can recommend , although there may be some in the future. I will, as always be available to my puppy buyers and hope you will all continue to stay in contact and send photos of your beautiful babies.
A little late in posting but our weather here has been crazy, so no Wifi! Bella delivered 11 healthy puppies on Feb. 11. All but two are male, no puppies available. Cabo, the only OFA rated excellent male Spanish Mastiff in the US and Bella’s hip certificates, DNA panels, and other health testing can be seen in their albums if you are in my Working Spanish Mastiffs with X Rays and Other Health Testing FB group, or I can provide them on request. Puppies are UKC registered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed, receive ENS, leash training is started as is crate training for puppies who will be shipped. All our puppies are exposed to our sheep, goats, Kune Kune pigs, turkeys and chickens, as well as to cats, small dogs and children, and of course I am always available for a phone call, text or email if you have any questions.
Finally, here they are! Because I’m so late posting, we retook photos today so they’d be up to date; which means I won’t be taking more until next Wednesday. I will, however, post video of these cuties interacting sometime midweek, when everyone has their names and new collars. Right now, if they aren’t toddling around the whelping box, they really like to sleep as close to this electric fireplace as possible, which is why the weird screen is in front of it. Hope you enjoy the photos!
These two beautiful pure bred Spanish Mastiff girls are looking for a job and family. Zee, the brindle girl is 8 months old 123 lbs, and is more compact all the way around than her sister. She is also the most dominant of the two. Cilla, the fawn puppy is also 8 months old, she is considerably taller and leggier than her sister and weighed 130 at her last Vet visit. Both girls have been raised with sheep, goats, small children and dogs, and on a limited basis with chickens and horses. Both UTD on all vaccinations including rabies and were spayed on October 2nd, these photos were taken in the kidding pen they’ve been recovering in. PMor email for more details, photos, and video.
….a bottle lamb! This is little Milkshake (named by our 4 year old grandson) Three times a day they bring her up to get her bottle. They watch over her and yesterday I watched Marcia lead her to shelter during a hail storm. Marcia and Josin just turned a year old in February, I am very impressed with their nurturing and guarding instincts…..this is how it’s done!
Finally! Arcilla (Cilla) and Pizzara (Zee) (Sofia de Fuente Mimbre x Titan de Fuente Sayud) spent their first morning meeting the sheep and their new mentors and pack members. We are thrilled to add these fabulous bloodlines to our pack and look forward to watching these two beautiful girls grow into the guardians they were bred to be. Many thanks to Mario, Arantza, and Alberto for producing such beautiful dogs. We hope you enjoy the slideshow and video of the girls first outing.
Jubi is a 3 year old spayed female ¾ Spanish Mastiff and 1/8 each Anatolian Shepherd and Maremma cross looking for a new job and family. She has experience with sheep, goats and chickens. She is the best poultry guardian I’ve ever seen, she even sleeps with her chickens if given the opportunity. I have seen her chase hawks away numerous times, other predators don’t even make an effort. She is also good with other livestock animals but her real love seems to be chickens. Jubi needs to either be an only dog or the only female as she is a queen bee and just doesn’t tolerate other females, but gets along well with all our male dogs. She’s a big girl, about 33” at the shoulder and was 170 lbs at her last vet visit. Interested parties can contact me at email@example.com
