Spanish Mastiff Puppies Are Huge; But They’re Still Just Babies

A video and some still photos of Joe (Josin del Picu San Martin) and Marcia (Hoof and Fangs Marcia). These two Spanish Mastiff puppies are each over 80 lbs. at 5 1/2 months old and you can practically see them growing. Puppies this age are still in the process of developing bone and joint tissue. While they are very large and look older, they are still babies and it’s very important to keep them from carrying too much weight in the interest of developing healthy joints, which contribute to keeping your dog fit and working longer. Our dogs have relatives in Spain still healthy and working at 10 – 13 years old, and our goal is to continue that tradition here in the United States through selective breeding and proper care of our puppies through every stage of growth.
